    Summary

Before logging in for the first time, ensure you have your login credentials secure, a stable internet connection, and an understanding of the initial setup priorities such as timezone configuration and business profile completion.

    Who this article is for

This article is for all new users preparing to access their GEVADE CRM workspace for the first time.

    Overview

Your first login to GEVADE CRM marks the beginning of your journey toward a more streamlined and automated business. However, before you enter your credentials and access your new workspace, there are a few preparatory steps you should take to ensure a seamless experience. The initial login is when you will establish the foundational settings of your account, which will dictate how dates, times, and communications are handled across the entire platform. Being prepared for this moment will prevent common configuration errors that can cause significant issues down the line. This guide outlines the essential actions you should take immediately before your first login to set yourself up for success.

    Before you begin

    • Locate your welcome email containing your login link and temporary credentials.
    • Ensure you are using a supported, modern web browser (Google Chrome is recommended).
    • Verify your primary business timezone.
    • Have your official business details ready for the initial profile setup.

    Step 1: Secure Your Credentials

Locate the welcome email sent by the GEVADE CRM system. This email contains your unique login URL, your username (usually your email address), and a temporary password. Keep this information secure. We highly recommend using a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password when you are prompted to change your temporary credentials, depending on your account configuration.

Step 2: Choose the Right Browser

For the best experience, we strongly recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome. While GEVADE CRM is compatible with other modern browsers like Safari and Edge, Chrome provides the most consistent performance, especially when using advanced features like the integrated softphone for making and receiving calls.

Step 3: Understand the Priority Settings

Be aware that the very first thing you must do upon logging in is to verify and configure your Business Profile. The most critical setting on this page is your timezone. All calendars, scheduled emails, and automated workflows rely on this setting, where available in your account. If it is incorrect, your appointments will be booked at the wrong times, and your marketing campaigns will launch unexpectedly.

Step 4: Plan Your First Session

Set aside at least 30 to 60 uninterrupted minutes for your first login session. This will give you ample time to complete the initial configuration, explore the dashboard, and familiarize yourself with the navigation menu without feeling rushed.

    Configuration note

Your login link is specific to your workspace. Do not attempt to log in through generic portals if you have been provided a specific URL in your welcome email.

    Important clarification

A very frequent configuration issue is rushing through the initial profile setup and skipping the timezone configuration, leading to immediate scheduling conflicts.

    Resolution guidance

I cannot find my welcome email.

Check your spam or junk folders. If you still cannot locate it, contact your designated CRM administrator to have the invitation resent.
