Summary
Your access to GEVADE CRM is tied directly to your active subscription. If your account is suspended due to non-payment or policy violations, all services—including websites, automations, and data access—are halted.
Who this article is for
This article is for account owners.
Overview
Maintaining an active subscription is required to keep your business operations running smoothly. This guide explains what happens during an account suspension, how data retention works, and how to restore access. A suspension is a protective measure. It stops the system from accumulating unpaid usage charges and protects the network if an account is found to be sending spam or violating communication compliance laws.
Before you begin
- Ensure your primary payment method is up to date.
- Review the Acceptable Use Policy regarding spam and compliance.
- Understand that suspended accounts cannot export data.
Step 1: Triggers for Suspension
Accounts are most commonly suspended due to unresolved failed payments after the grace period expires. Less commonly, accounts may be suspended for violating our Acceptable Use Policy (e.g., sending massive amounts of spam, phishing, or violating SMS compliance laws).
Step 2: What Happens During Suspension
When suspended, you cannot log into the dashboard. Any websites or landing pages hosted on GEVADE CRM will display an error. All workflows pause, and no emails or SMS messages will be sent or received. Your business essentially goes offline.
Step 3: Data Retention
We do not immediately delete your data upon suspension. Your contacts, pipelines, and settings are held securely for a limited period (typically 30 to 60 days). If the account is not reactivated within this window, the workspace may be permanently purged from our servers.
Step 4: Restoring Access
If suspended for non-payment, you will be presented with a billing update screen when you try to log in. Entering a valid card and paying the past-due balance will automatically restore your workspace within minutes. If suspended for compliance reasons, you must contact support.
Configuration note
If your account is suspended for spam or policy violations, updating your credit card will not restore access. You must contact support to appeal the suspension.
Important clarification
Assuming that pausing your business means you can just stop paying without officially canceling. This leads to failed payment strikes and eventual data deletion.
Resolution guidance
Can I export my data while suspended?
No. You must have an active, paid subscription to access the dashboard and export your contacts or data.
