    Summary

You can configure how and when you receive alerts by navigating to your personal profile settings. You can toggle email, SMS, and in-app notifications for various events like new leads, incoming messages, and task assignments.

    Who this article is for

This article is for all users who want to customize their personal notification alerts.

    Overview

Staying informed without being overwhelmed is key to productivity. GEVADE CRM allows each user to customize their notification preferences. Whether you want an SMS every time a new lead comes in, or just a daily email summary, you can tailor the alerts to fit your workflow, if your user permissions allow access.

    Step 1: Access Personal Settings

Click on your profile picture or name in the top right corner (or navigate to Settings > Profile). This opens your individual user preferences.

    Step 2: Locate Notifications

Scroll down to the 'Notifications' section. Here you will see a grid or list of different system events.

    Step 3: Toggle Preferences

For events like 'New Lead Assigned', 'Incoming SMS', or 'Task Reminder', choose whether you want to receive an Email, an SMS, or an In-App notification (or a combination of them).

    Step 4: Save Preferences

Click 'Save' to apply your new notification rules.

    Configuration note

To receive SMS notifications, your user profile must have a valid mobile phone number entered. To receive in-app notifications, ensure you have allowed browser notifications for the GEVADE CRM domain.

    Resolution guidance

I am not receiving email notifications

Check your spam folder and ensure your email address is spelled correctly in your user profile. Also, verify that the specific event toggle is turned on for Email.

I am getting too many notifications

Return to your profile settings and turn off SMS or Email notifications for less critical events, relying instead on the In-App notifications when you log in.
